Detoxification
Let's face it, we are exposed to toxins in our foods, environment, homes and offices daily. A key to maintaining or improving our health is to detox. Those dealing with illness often have a difficult time detoxing (I know I do!) so I offer these tips to more natural and less symptomatic ways to detox. As always, you can discuss these and other options with your medical practitioner, and always listen to your inner guide. If it doesn't feel right to you, it's not right for you!
1. Eat Organic/Live Naturally
To reduce exposure eat organic, use natural personal grooming products, household cleaners and pest control, as well as limit electromagnetic and radio frequency energies (avoid wireless, "smart" electronics, wifi, cordless phones, etc).
2. Water Is A Great Detoxifier!
The foods and beverages you eat and drink can offer a less aggressive and more natural approach to detoxing and liver support. One of the best ways is by drinking lots of clean, quality water…which we all know is also important to our general good health.
3. Keep Things Flowing
Eliminating well every day is vital to your health. If you are eating properly (lots of fresh fruits and veges) you likely don't have a problem going...but if you do begin adding raw, fresh foods to your diet. Even though I eat well I still have an issue but adding a magnesium supplement has been very beneficial. Magnesium is also great for the heart but be sure to check with your doctor before making adding any supplements or making any dietary changes.
4. Exercise is very important. I know it can be tough if you are ill, but do as much as you can.
The lymphatic system is key to keeping thing flowing well and keeping you healthy, Cranio Sacral Therapy is great for keeping this important system in balance.
5. Foods To Help You Detoxify:

I use a dressing with no canola or other bad oils..and do notice a difference in how I look and feel. Also while eating organic is always best I know it is expensive...f you are unable to eat organic be aware that high pesticide produce includes: apples, bell peppers, celery, cherries, grapes, lettuce, nectarines, peaches, potatoes, spinach, and strawberries.
